To Strip or Not to Strip?

While this blog serves as an aid for me to stay focused on my resolutions over the coming months, I also want this to be a place for women to find inspiration and motivation. With the help of a good friend/relative (whose fashion blog can be found here!), I’m hoping to incorporate fitness trends, recipes, and innovative workouts to share over the coming months. Hopefully by the end of 2012, there will be a slew of posts that help women feel more confident, healthy, and fit.

 
That said, the below ad is for STRIPPED, a two week bootcamp I’m considering signing up for that’s offered at the barre studio where I workout:


I’ve been trying to convince myself the past few weeks that STRIPPED will be the perfect way to bring in the new year. I’ve always been a huge fan of cardio interval workouts and high intensity training so this boot camp seems like the ideal program (with the exception of the 5:45am mandatory class time, I am NOT a morning person).  At this point, I really don’t have a reason not to do it-and it will force me to dedicate myself to a workout program for the first time in two years.

 
Do you have any workout programs that you’re considering for the new year? Studies have shown that it takes 21 days for the body to form a habit, so a short-term bootcamp or workout program might be the jump start you need to achieving a long-term, healthy and happy lifestyle!
